Viewing Your Transaction History

Updated over 2 months ago

Keeping track of your crypto activity isn’t just about peace of mind — it’s essential.

Your transaction history in Giddy helps you:

  • 🧾 Reference activity for taxes or other financial reporting

  • 🔍 See exactly where funds came from or went

  • ✅ Verify successful transactions

  • 🔗 Access blockchain explorers for a public receipt

Whether you're a casual user or a crypto power user, it’s important to know where this information can be found in the Giddy app.

👤 Step 1: Tap the Profile Icon

From the main wallet screen, tap the user icon in the top right corner of the app.

This opens your account menu.

📄 Step 2: Select “Transaction History”

From the menu, select “Transaction History.”
This is where you can see a complete list of all incoming and outgoing transactions associated with your wallet.

🧭 Step 3: Tap Any Transaction for Details

Select a specific transaction to view:

  • Token values

  • Sender or recipient address

  • Timestamp

  • Network fees

  • Status (pending, completed, failed)

🌐 Step 4: View on the Blockchain Explorer

At the bottom of the transaction details page, you’ll see a link to view the transaction on the blockchain’s Explorer site.

This is a public ledger that:

  • Confirms your transaction is on-chain

  • Shows all details from an independent source

  • Can be shared as a receipt for 3rd party verification

Giddy supports explorer links for each blockchain your wallet interacts with — so you’re always connected to the source.
