Sending Crypto Out of the Giddy Wallet

Updated over a week ago

Need to move tokens to another wallet, fund an exchange account, or just pay a friend back for dinner?

Here’s how to do it in just a few simple steps:

📱 Step 1: Start from the Wallet Screen

From the main wallet screen, you’ll see your total balance — this number reflects the total value of all your assets combined.

To send crypto, you can either:

  • Tap the "Send" bubble

  • Or scroll down and tap a specific token to send

🔍 Step 2: Choose a Token

Below your total balance, you'll see a list of tokens you hold.

To send one, simply tap the token’s tile.

📄 Step 3: Go to Token Details

You’re now on the token details page.

From here, tap the "Send" button to start your transaction.

🏷️ Step 4: Enter a Wallet Address

You’ll now be prompted to:

  • Paste in a wallet address

  • Or select someone from your Address Book

Pro Tip: Always send a small test amount the first time you send crypto to a new address to ensure it’s correct.

⚠️ Compatibility Warning: Not all wallets support every token. Double-check that the wallet you're sending to supports the specific token before completing the transaction — otherwise, you risk losing your funds.

💸 Step 5: Choose the Amount to Send

Input how much you’d like to send — or tap "MAX" to send your full balance.

🔥 Heads-Up: Blockchains require gas fees to process transactions. Sometimes you'll need to leave a small amount of the native token behind to cover this fee.

If you see the following screen when attempting to send, just go back and lower the send amount by a few cents.

👀 Step 6: Review the Transaction

You’ll now see a full preview of your send.

If everything looks correct, swipe across the screen to confirm and send your crypto.

✅ Step 7: Confirmation

You're done!

You’ll first see a “Pending” message — don’t worry, your transaction is processing in the background.

You can now safely navigate away from this page.

If you wait a few seconds, you’ll see the status update to “Completed.”
You can also confirm the transaction later via your Transaction History.

🔐 In Summary

Sending crypto with Giddy is fast and flexible — whether you’re paying friends or moving funds across wallets.

Just remember:

  • Double-check the receiving address

  • Confirm token compatibility

  • Leave a little gas behind for the network

And as always… you’re in full control.
